Kodaikanal Lake, also known as Kodai Lake, is a man-made star-shaped lake that offers boating and horse-riding activities. Surrounded by lush-green hills, this serene location is perfect for a family outing.
Coakers Walk is a one-kilometer long pedestrian path that offers a breathtaking panoramic view of the valley. On the way back, visit Bryant Park, a botanical garden with a wide range of flora, including hybrids of roses and dahlias.
Visit the famous tea gardens of Munnar and witness the tea-making process while enjoying scenic views of rolling hills. Afterward, head to Eravikulam National Park to spot the rare Nilgiri Tahr and enjoy a peaceful walk among the tea plantations.
If you have more time, visit Pillar Rocks, Silver Cascade Falls or the Bear Shola Falls, in Kodaikanal. If you have more days, you could go for an ayurvedic spa or take a trek to a nearby waterfall in Munnar. However, if you have less time, skip Bryant Park and head straight to Munnar on Day 2. Also, note that there may be long queues for boating and entry in popular tourist spots, so it is better to visit early morning.
