Start your adventure in one of the most beautiful hiking trails of Oahu. The Manoa Valley hike leads you to a stunning view of a 150-foot Manoa Falls which falls in a beautiful pond surrounded by lush flora. The trail is 1.6 miles long, and can get a bit muddy, but a proper pair of shoes is all you need to conquer the journey.
Note: Open daily from 6am-6pm. Entrance fee is $5 per person.
Oahu’s North Shore is the ultimate destination for surfers! Watch professionals brave the massive waves at Ehukai Beach, known as "Banzai Pipeline". If you're a beginner, take surf lessons which are available in the nearby towns. You can rent paddle boards, kayaks, and snorkeling gear to enjoy other water activities. North Shore is definitely a must-visit spot for surfing enthusiasts.
End your adventure on a high note, or should we say, a free-fall. Skydiving over Oahu's South Shore is not only an adrenaline-pumping activity, but it also gives you a bird's-eye view of the entire island. Free fall 12,000ft and glide safely to the ground while enjoying the beautiful panoramic views of the famous Waikiki Beach and the stunning Diamond Head.
If you have extra time, consider visiting Pearl Harbor or the Honolulu Zoo. For foodies, check out the local food truck scene for a taste of unique Hawaiian cuisine. If you have less time, you can skip either the surfing or skydiving activities, or both, and spend more time exploring the island's beaches and towns. Remember to always check for opening and closing times, and have fun exploring Oahu's breathtaking scenery.
