Start your trip with a scenic drive to the highest peak in Karnataka, Mullayanagiri. Hike up the mountain and witness the breathtaking views of the lush green valleys and forest. After Mullayanagiri, visit Baba Budangiri Hills famous for its shrines and trekking trails. Try the local chai and fresh fruits from the nearby plantations after finishing your trek.
On your second day, visit the picturesque hill station of Kemmanagundi which is popularly known as the 'Ooty of Karnataka. Visit the lush green gardens nearby and relax in the serene environment. Later, visit Hebbe Falls which is a two-stage waterfall surrounded by green forests and coffee plantations. Take a dip in the refreshing waters, and bring your camera to capture the stunning surroundings.
Explore the beautiful Bhadra Wildlife Sanctuary and witness the various flora and fauna. Take a safari ride through the sanctuary, and encounter some of the exotic animals like tigers, leopards, and elephants. Later, head to the nearby coffee plantations and stroll along the vast greenery while learning about coffee production and history. Try some of the freshly brewed coffee before heading back.
If you want to add more adventure to your trip, you can try camping or trekking in the nearby hills and forests. On the other hand, if you have less time, you can combine Mullayanagiri and Baba Budangiri Hills in a half-day trip. Moreover, you can skip Bhadra Wildlife Sanctuary and opt for a peaceful walk in the coffee plantations instead.
