Start your Rio adventure with the two most iconic landmarks – Christ the Redeemer and Sugarloaf Mountain. Begin the morning with a visit to the towering Christ the Redeemer statue, where you can admire stunning panoramic views of the city. Take the train to Corcovado Mountain and then the scenic cable car ride to Sugarloaf Mountain. Admire the incredible views of the coastline and Guanabara Bay.
Spend the day exploring two of Rio's most famous beaches – Copacabana and Ipanema. Enjoy the beautiful sand and warm waters, or try your hand at surfing and beach volleyball. In the evening, head to the lively Lapa district to visit the colorful Lapa Arches and enjoy the buzzing nightlife. Dance the night away to samba music and try street food from the many vendors.
If you have more time, consider visiting the Tijuca Forest National Park or the Rio Carnival Museum. For a taste of traditional Brazilian cuisine, head to a churrascaria to try various grilled meats. If you have less time, skip the Lapa district and spend more time at the beaches or visit the Botanical Garden.
