Three-Day Itinerary for Coimbatore to Manali

  1. Day 1: Explore Manali
    Time: 9:00am - 5:00pm (8 hours), Distance: 400km (6 hours drive)

    Start your day by visiting the famous Hidimba Devi Temple which is a unique shrine dedicated to Hidimba, the wife of Bhima from the epic Mahabharata. The temple is located amidst dense cedar forests and has a unique architecture. Next, take a stroll around Mall Road, a popular shopping street with a variety of local handicrafts, souvenirs, and restaurants. Spend the evening at Van Vihar National Park which has a beautiful lake and offers boating facilities.

  2. Day 2: Adventure Sports and Trekking
    Time: 8:00am - 6:00pm (10 hours)

    Begin your day early and drive to Solang valley where you can indulge in adventure sports like paragliding, zorbing, and skiing. You can also take a trek to the Beas Kund trek which is a moderate trek offering scenic views of the mountains. Another option is the Jogini waterfall trek which is an easy trek through forests, streams, and offers breathtaking views of the valley. Spend the evening at the Manali Sanctuary which has a variety of flora and fauna.

  3. Day 3: Rohtang Pass and Vashisht Village
    Time: 8:00am - 7:00pm (11 hours)

    Take an early morning drive to the Rohtang Pass, which offers stunning views of the Himalayas and the surrounding valleys. Spend a few hours here and enjoy the snow activities like skiing, sledging, and snowmobiling. Next, head to the Vashisht Village which is famous for its hot water springs and ancient temples. Take a dip in the hot water springs and rejuvenate yourself. On your way back to Manali, you can stop at the Nehru Kund which is a natural spring of cold water.
