Visit the St. Mary's Island, a group of four small islands where you can witness some amazing rock formations. You can take a boat ride or a ferry to reach the island which takes about 20 minutes.
Get ready for some divine blessings at the Murdeshwar temple. A famous Hindu pilgrimage site located in the town of Murdeshwar in Karnataka. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva, and the highlight is the world's second-tallest Shiva statue, standing tall at 123 feet. The temple is surrounded by the Arabian sea on three sides creating a picturesque view.
Experience the thrill of dolphin spotting at the Netrani Island. Hop on a speedboat from the Murdeshwar beach which will take you to the island. It is one of the best scuba diving destinations in India and there are plenty of water sports activities for you to enjoy. You can witness a variety of dolphin species such as the Indo-Pacific humpback dolphin, bottlenose dolphin and spinner dolphin.
If you have more time, you can add the Udupi Sri Krishna Temple or the Gokarna Beach. If you have less time, you can skip the Tannirbhavi Beach and St. Mary's Island visit. Always carry sunblock and hats as it gets very hot on the beaches. Avoid visiting during monsoon season as the water sports activities are not available.
