Arriving early in the morning, we start our journey by exploring the bustling city of Male. Visit the Hukuru Miskiy Mosque - a 17th-century mosque made of coral stone and admire its intricate decorations. Next stop is Majeedhee Magu - the busiest street of the city known for its traditional Maldivian clothing, jewellery, and handicrafts. Finally, relax in the afternoon by strolling along the artificial beach created in 2015.
It's time to explore the beautiful Indian Ocean. Witness the mesmerising underwater world by snorkelling in the clear waters. We are going to visit two popular spots - the Manta Point to swim alongside manta rays and the Banana Reef known for its colourful fish species and coral formations.
Experience the local life by taking a day trip to the island of Maafushi. Known for its stunning white-sand beaches and crystal-clear waters, the island is perfect for relaxing and enjoying various water activities. Walk through the local streets, sample traditional Maldivian cuisine, and take a dip in the sea before heading back to Male in the evening.
The final day of the trip is all about relaxation and soaking in the beauty of the sunset. Head to the luxurious Huvafen Fushi Resort for a rejuvenating spa experience and wind down as you sail out in the Indian Ocean for a picturesque sunset cruise.
If you have more time, go island hopping to explore the other islands of Maldives. You can also try water activities like scuba diving, parasailing, and water skiing. For those who have less time, skip the day trip to Maafushi and instead opt for exploring more of Male. Finally, always check the weather forecast before planning any water-related activities.
