Start your trip by driving from Coimbatore to Munnar, a picturesque hill station in the Western Ghats. Begin your day at the Paradesi Synagogue, the oldest active synagogue in the Commonwealth and later witness the beauty of the Dutch Palace or Mattancherry Palace. Spend some time at the Bolgatty Palace Island Resort, located on an island off Kochi, and enjoy water sports like kayaking, speed boating, canoeing, or simply relaxing at the resort. In the evening, enjoy some shopping and street food at the vibrant Broadway Market.
If you have more time, consider visiting Thekkady to see the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary or taking a backwater cruise in Alleppey. If you have less time, skip the Bolgatty Palace Island Resort or the Kathakali Dance Show. Make sure to carry comfortable shoes, a hat, sunscreen, and an umbrella/raincoat as the weather can be unpredictable.
