Honeymoon Itinerary for 4 Days in Mumbai

  1. Day 1: Gateway of India and Elephanta Caves
    Approximately 1 hour from the airport.
    Take a ferry to visit the Gateway of India, one of Mumbai's most popular landmarks. After visiting the gateway, take another ferry ride to the Elephanta Caves, which are carved out of a rock and are home to ancient Hindu and Buddhist sculptures. Spend the rest of the day exploring the cave temples.
  2. Day 2: Colaba and Marine Drive
    Approximately 30-minutes from your hotel in South Mumbai.
    Start your day by visiting the Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus Railway Station, a UNESCO World Heritage site, and take a train to Colaba, a charming old part of Mumbai where you can find amazing local handicrafts and artifacts. Stop for lunch at the famous Leopold Cafe, and walk towards the seafront promenade of Marine Drive, to enjoy the sunset and a long walk overlooking the Arabian Sea.
  3. Day 3: Bandra and Worli Sea Face
    Approximately 1 hour from your hotel in South Mumbai.
    Head towards the suburb of Bandra and visit the Bandra Fort, which dates back to the 17th century and has a scenic view of the sea. Continue on to Bandra's famous Hill Road, where you can find plenty of trendy boutiques and cafes perfect for a quick bite. In the evening, head towards the Worli Sea Face, another popular promenade to enjoy the view of the Mumbai skyline. Stop for dinner at the famous Haji Ali Juice Centre, which serves amazing fresh juices and snacks.
  4. Day 4: Essel World and Global Vipassana Pagoda
    Approximately 1.5 hours from your hotel in South Mumbai.
    Visit Essel World, one of Mumbai's most popular amusement parks and spend the day with your loved one on thrilling rides, enjoy live performances and indulge in the vast range of food options on offer. After a fun day in the park, visit the nearby Global Vipassana Pagoda, which is known to be the world's largest stone dome without any supporting pillars and is a perfect destination to unwind and end your honeymoon.
