Vellode Bird Sanctuary is an ideal place for bird watching. It is home to a variety of birds such as pelicans, storks, and ibis. You can enjoy nature trails, bird watching, and take a boat ride to enjoy the island amidst the water body.
Sankagiri Fort is a historic fort that is located on top of a hill. You can walk to the top of the hill and take in the panoramic view of the surrounding areas. The fort has a small museum that displays artifacts and weapons used in battles.
