Begin your Vagamon trip by visiting the Vagamon Meadows which is serene with lush green hills and have a chance to meet the shepherds and their flocks. Later, head to Kurisumala Ashram which is a hill that is famous for its monastery that belongs to the Syro-Malankara Catholic Church. You can climb up the hill and trek to reach the monastery. Start the day by visiting Thangal Para which is a pilgrimage centre for the Muslims and Hindus. The shrine here is dedicated to Sheikh Fariduddin and is visited by people from different religions and cultures. Then, visit the Parunthumpara Viewpoint which is located on a hilltop and provides an unobstructed view of the surrounding mountains, valleys and tea gardens. Make sure you carry a camera to capture the mesmerizing beauty of this place.
On the last day, visit the Vagamon Lake which is situated in the midst of lush green hills and offers pedal boating and row boating facilities. After that, head to the Marmala Waterfalls which is on the way to Teekoy and surrounded by tea gardens. You can take a dip in the natural pool created below the waterfall.
