Four Days in Thailand

  1. Day 1: Explore Bangkok's Grand Palace
    30 minutes from Suvarnabhumi Airport (by taxi)

    The Grand Palace is an opulent masterpiece, unlike anything you've ever seen before. It's a must-visit point of interest while you're in Bangkok. Be sure to admire the intricate design and vibrant colours of the palace. Also, don't skip Wat Phra Kaew, a nearby temple. It's a sacred space and home to the revered Emerald Buddha. The dress code is strict, so dress modestly.

  2. Day 2: Head to Chiang Mai
    2 hours flight from Bangkok to Chiang Mai, then 20 minutes from Chiang Mai International airport (by taxi)

    Chiang Mai is a charming city in northern Thailand with a rich history and culture. Start your first day by visiting the historic Wat Chedi Luang. It's a beautiful temple complex with intricate details and fascinating architecture. Afterward, grab some delicious street food at the nearby Saturday Night Market. End your day with a visit to one of the many rooftop bars that offer a breathtaking view of the city at night.

  3. Day 3: Experience the Elephant Nature Park
    1 hour and 45 minutes from Chiang Mai city (by taxi)

    Elephant Nature Park is an ethical sanctuary and rescue center for elephants. Here, you can learn about the elephant's life and unique relationship with humans. Witness them being interacted with and fed from a respectful distance. You will also get to bathe them in the river which is an incredible experience that you won't forget. Book well in advance to avoid disappointments.

  4. Day 4: Water activities at Phuket
    2 hours and 30 minutes flight from Chiang Mai to Phuket, then 50 minutes from Phuket International airport (by taxi)

    One of the major reasons tourists flock to Phuket is the sandy beaches and clear waters. Start your day by jet skiing at Patong Beach. Afterward, go parasailing and take in the stunning views of the island from high above. In the evening, visit the lively Bangla Road for souvenir shopping, live entertainment, and an excellent nightlife experience.

Useful tips

If you have extra days, consider touring the islands of Thailand or head north to Chiang Rai on Day 4. If you have less time, you can skip water activities in Phuket and enjoy the beach instead. It's better to visit the Grand Palace in the morning as it gets hot during the day.
