Start your trip by visiting the Palace of Kota, which is a historical landmark built by King Umed Singh. Here you can explore the vast courtyards, beautiful gardens, and the intricate architecture of the Palace. After that, you can take a stroll around the scenic Kishore Sagar Lake which is located just outside the Palace on the way to Jag Mandir. If you have extra time, you can also visit Jag Mandir.
On the second day, travel to Garadia Mahadev to witness a breathtaking view of the panoramic view of the region. After that, move on to the Chambal Gardens which is a beautiful botanical garden displaying a variety of flora from the region. In the evening, you can enjoy a boat ride along the river Chambal.
Explore the Seven Wonders Park in Kota which showcases replicas of the seven wonders of the world. Afterward, head towards Bundi forts and admire the beautiful architecture and mesmerizing views of the city from the top of the forts. On the way back, visit the Stepwells in the region and view the mesmerizing architecture of the wells.
The last day of the trip will be spent by traveling to Kansua Temple, a beautiful Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Hanuman. After that, travel to the Gomatgiri Temple which is known for its very peculiar structure. The temple is located at a plateau depicting the life of Lord Mahaveer Swami with the statue of Bhagawan Bahubali placed at an elevation of 21 feet on the foothills.
If you have extra time, you can extend your visit to Kota by visiting other places including Charan Chauki, Darrah Wildlife Sanctuary and Alnea Dam. If you are visiting during the peak season (September to March) pre-book the sites and get there early to avoid the lines. Also, apply suitable sunscreen and take care of your body because of the high temperatures of the region.
