The Mahabodhi Society is a Buddhist temple located in Ernakulam. The temple was built in the Tibetan style and is a place of worship for Buddhists in Kerala. The temple has a beautiful garden and a small library with Buddhist books and scriptures.
Marine Drive is a popular spot for locals and tourists alike. You can take a stroll, go jogging or just sit and relax. The view of the sunset is breathtaking. From Marine Drive, you can take a ferry to Fort Kochi Beach. The beach has a beautiful promenade, colonial-style buildings, and Chinese fishing nets. You can also try some local snacks from the food vendors. The beach is closed after 8 pm.
If you have more time, you can visit other places like the Paradesi Synagogue, Bolgatty Palace, and Wonderla amusement park. If you have less time, you can skip the Jew Town and Spice Market or visit the Ernakulathappan Temple instead. Don't forget to carry water, sunscreen, and wear comfortable shoes and clothing.
