Begin your adventure with a trek to the Dudhsagar Waterfalls, one of the tallest waterfalls in India. The trail passes through lush green forests, streams, and small villages. You will cross four railway tunnels before reaching the waterfall. Take a refreshing dip in the base pool and enjoy the picturesque view of the falls.
Embark on a trek through the Bhagwan Mahaveer Wildlife Sanctuary filled with exotic plants, birds, animals, and reptiles like the Bengal Tiger, Black Panther, Indian Bison, Four-horned Antelope, and Python. Take a guided trek through the Mollem National Park and visit the Tambdi Surla Mahadev Temple, built in the 12th century.
End your trip with a trek through the Devil's Canyon, also known as Usgao Waterfall, famous for its picturesque location, daunting experience, and amazing views. The trek is moderately challenging, and you will encounter several waterfalls, pools, and a small lake. You can also indulge in rappelling, zip-lining, and rock climbing activities organized nearby.
If you have extra time, you can visit the nearby Mahadev Temple, Spice Plantation and Dudhsagar Lake. However, make sure to carry proper trekking gear, water, and snacks. The trekking trails are closed during monsoon season (June to September). You can also rent a cab from the railway station for an easier commute.
