Begin your day with a walk along the Coaker's Walk, a beautiful pathway that offers stunning views of the valley and surrounding mountains. The walk is around a kilometer long, and it will take approximately one hour to complete. After the walk, head to the Green Valley Viewpoint, also known as Suicide Point, to admire panoramic views of the valley. You can hire a binocular to spot the lush forests, waterfalls and nearby hill stations, if you would like.
Begin your day with a visit to the Bear Shola Falls, located in the Reserve Forest area. This 40-feet waterfall is named after the bears that used to come to drink water here. Surrounded by jungle and boulders, you can take a dip in the refreshing pool at the base of the fall. After, head to the Dolphin's Nose. This captivating cove offers views of the valley below, the town, and the nearby mountains in the distance. The viewpoint is named after its shape that resembles a dolphin nose.
If you have more time, take a leisurely boat ride in Kodai Lake, located at the center of Kodaikanal, surrounded by lush greenery. And relish yourself in authentic South Indian Cuisines, along the way.
If you have less time, opt for quick visits to Bryant Park and Pillar Rocks, and try out some street food, which serves as a perfect grab-and-go snack.
