If you have more time, you can visit the Hogenakkal Dam, located at a distance of 11 km from the falls. Hogenakkal Ranganathan Hotel is another excellent place to experience local food. However, it would be best to avoid them if you are in a hurry and in the interest of maximizing your day.

On the other hand, if you have less time, you can skip Kaveri's Edge Resort and opt for food stalls near the falls. You can also opt for paddle boating instead of the coracle ride, which is cheaper and takes less time.
