Varakala is famous for its beaches, and a beach hopping day should not be missed. Start the day with the Varkala Beach, known for its sunset views and perfect surfing conditions. For the second day, experience Varkala's unique nightlife and local cuisine. Start the evening off with a visit to the Chill Out Lounge which is a great place to hang out and enjoy some cocktails. Afterward, head over to the Rose Garden restaurant for some seafood and local delicacies. After dinner, visit the Club London Disco and end the night with some dancing and drinks.
If you have more time, visit the Anjengo Fort as it is a great historical monument. For a more adventurous activity or if traveling with a larger group, plan a boat trip along the nearby backwaters. For a more relaxing activity, consider a yoga session on Varkala beach, or get a massage at one of the many spas in the city. If you have less time, it is best to focus on either the beach hopping or the nightlife and local cuisine.
