Hoggenakkal Falls is a breathtaking waterfall located in the Dharmapuri district of Tamil Nadu. The falls are formed from the river Kaveri as it drops over rocky terrain, creating a spectacular sight. Visitors can take a boat ride to get closer to the falls or swim in the nearby pools. There are plenty of food and drink vendors nearby as well. The falls are open from 8 am to 6 pm.

Located in the Eastern Ghats mountain range, the hills offer amazing views and a chance to explore the local flora and fauna. Visitors can go trekking or birdwatching in the hills, or simply enjoy a picnic with their family. The hills are open from 9 am to 5 pm.
If you have more time, you may want to explore other places in the Dharmapuri district, such as the historical Hogenakkal Temple or the Krishnagiri Dam. If you have less time, you may want to skip the Melagiri Hills and spend more time at Hoggenakkal Falls.
