Begin your trip with a visit to the Sigiriya Rock Fortress. On the third day of your itinerary, head to Mirissa for an unforgettable whale watching experience. You can catch a glimpse of blue whales, humpback whales, and dolphins during the whale watching season from November to April. Conclude your trip with a visit to Galle Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The fort was built-in 1588 by the Portuguese and has been preserving its unique architecture and cultural heritage ever since.
