Return to Leh and on the way, stop to visit the famous Magnetic Hill. This natural wonder is believed to defy the laws of gravity and pull stationary vehicles uphill. Reach Leh by late evening and rest for the night.
Head to Likir Monastery for a morning trek and enjoy the stunning views of the mountains. Visit the Alchi Monastery, a 1000-year-old Buddhist learning center, and explore the beautiful murals and architecture. Finally, stop by Basgo Palace, an ancient castle that dates back to the 15th century.
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and say goodbye to Ladakh, with memories worth a lifetime. Depart from Kushok Bakula Rimpochee Airport and head back home.
For travelers with more time, add a visit to the Tso Moriri Lake, the highest altitude lake in India, and explore local food and shopping in Leh bazaar. For those with less time, remove the Basgo Palace visit and cut down on the time spent at Diskit Monastery and the Hundar Camel Ride.
