  1. Day 1: Hampi Bazaar

    The main street of Hampi, lined with shops selling souvenirs and handicrafts, also home to some ancient temples and archaic structures.

  2. Day 2: Virupaksha Temple
    20 minutes (11.7 km) from Hampi Bazaar

    One of the oldest and most important temples in Hampi, dedicated to Lord Shiva, it's a perfect example of Dravidian architecture.

  3. Day 3: Hemakuta Hill Temple
    10 minutes (5.8 km) from Virupaksha Temple

    A cluster of about 30 small, simple temples on top of a hill, offers beautiful panoramic views of the surrounding areas.

  4. Day 4: Elephant Stables
    25 minutes (18.7 km) from Hemakuta Hill Temple

    A unique and impressive structure that was used to shelter royal elephants during the Vijayanagara Empire. The stables were carved out of a single massive slab of stone.

  5. Day 5: Matanga Hill
    15 minutes (6.2 km) from Elephant Stables

    The highest point in Hampi, offers a stunning view of the entire city and surrounding areas. The trek to the top is a bit steep but worth it.

If you have more time, be sure to visit Hampi Museum, Tungabhadra River, Lotus Palace, Mango Tree Restaurant, and Sanapur Lake. If you have less time, you might want to skip Elephant Stables and add Vittala Temple or Underground Shiva Temple. Don't forget to carry sunscreen, sunglasses, and carry a water bottle, and comfortable footwear for climbing hills.
