  1. Day 1: Chimney Rock State Park

    Enjoy panoramic views of the Blue Ridge Mountains at Chimney Rock State Park. Hike through the Hickory Nut Falls trail to see a 404-foot waterfall or climb the Outcroppings trail to reach the iconic Chimney Rock.   2. Day 2: U.S. National Whitewater Center
    2 hours (130 miles) from Chimney Rock State Park

    Get your heart racing with the various outdoor activities at the U.S. National Whitewater Center. Go white water rafting in the man-made rapids, tackle the ropes course, or try the world's largest man-made recirculating river.
