Relaxing 4-Day Itinerary in Menorca

  1. Day 1: Cala en Turqueta
20 minutes (9.1 km) from Ciutadella

Begin your trip by heading to the crystal-clear waters of Cala en Turqueta. This popular beach boasts white sand and turquoise water surrounded by limestone cliffs that provide an idyllic backdrop for any holiday pic. Visitors to the beach can relax in the sun, or swim in the calm waters. Be warned, however, that the beach can get busy on weekends so arrive early. You can even rent a paddleboard or kayak to explore more of the coastline.

  2. Day 2: Camí de Cavalls
25 minutes (11.6 km) from Cala en Turqueta

The Camí de Cavalls is an ancient bridle path that encircles the island of Menorca, offering breathtaking views at every turn. Take a leisurely hike along the trail, enjoying the beautiful Mediterranean flora and fauna, and stunning coastal views along the way. We recommended the stretch between Cala Galdana and Cala Mitjana, which will take around 3 hours to complete. Pack plenty of water, sunscreen and snacks for this adventure.

  3. Day 3: Cales Coves
30 minutes (18.3 km) from Camí de Cavalls

Today take a trip to Cales Coves, an ancient necropolis which dates back to the 2nd century BC. These historical caves can be explored by kayak, boat or on foot and offer something uniquely different. The journey to reach the caves can be long, but the serenity and beauty of the surroundings are well worth the journey. Moments of complete silence are inevitable and can be exceptionally peaceful, especially when listening to the water moving over the rocks.

  4. Day 4: Binibèquer Vell
20 minutes (8.1 km) from Cales Coves

Enjoy your last day in Menorca by taking a trip to Binibèquer Vell, a small fishing village that has barely changed in the last fifty years. The village is home to narrow streets lined with white-washed houses that are reminiscent of an emblematic Andalusian or Mediterranean village you only see in photographs or movies. El Bigotes restaurant is a must-stop to relax and sample local gastronomy, but you must book ahead so as not to miss this unforgettable experience.
