Start your first day in the charming Old Town of Warsaw. Marvel at the colourful buildings, picturesque alleys, and the famous Market Square. Here, you'll find the imposing Warsaw Mermaid Statue, which is the symbol of the city. Climb the Sigismund's Column for panoramic views of the city. Then, head over to the Royal Castle, a stunning example of Baroque architecture and home to exquisite paintings and artwork. Finally, visit the Polish Vodka Museum for a taste of the country's national drink.
Spend your second day in Warsaw exploring some of its beautiful parks and palaces. Head to Łazienki Park, a breathtaking landscaped park and palace complex, which features outdoor concerts, gardens, and a lake with a palace on its island. Next, visit the Wilanów Palace, a stunning Baroque palace and gardens that were once the residence of King John III. Finally, take a stroll in the surrounding park, which is home to beautiful ponds, sculptures, and a rose garden.
For those with more time, consider adding a visit to the Jewish Ghetto Memorial or taking a guided walking tour of the city. If you have less time, it's recommended to choose either the Old Town or park and palace complex for a more relaxed day. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes as you'll be doing plenty of walking!
