A jeep safari through the sanctuary will take you closer to nature. You can also stop by the Mookambika Temple located nearby, which is considered a significant Hindu pilgrimage site.

  2. Day 2: Unchalli Falls

    The Unchalli Falls, also known as Lushington Falls is located in the dense forests of Western Ghats. It is a breathtaking waterfall which falls from a height of about 130 meters. The falls and the surrounding areas offer scenic views, hiking trails and adventure activities. There is a viewpoint close to the falls where you can enjoy the panoramic views of the falls and the valley. Do not miss out on the Mirjan Fort nearby which is a beautiful yet lesser-known fort in Karnataka.
