Dubare Elephant Camp, located on the bank of the river Kaveri, is a must-visit place for animal lovers. Spend the day learning about the elephants and watching them bathe in the river. Visitors have the opportunity to feed, ride and even bathe with the elephants. You can also take part in the Mahout Training Program.
Abbey Falls is situated in the middle of a coffee plantation and surrounded by lush greenery. The picturesque falls are a sight to behold, and you can take a dip in the cool waters. Trek down the nearby paths for a better view of the falls.
If you have some extra time, explore the coffee plantations and try some freshly brewed coffee. Visit the ancient Madikeri Fort and the Raja's Seat if you are interested in history and architecture. If you have less time, you can skip the elephant camp or the falls, depending on your interests.
