Useful Tips

If you have more time, you can add a visit to Pathiramanal Island, which can be reached by taking a boat from Kumarakom. This island is a haven for birdwatchers and home to many exotic species of migratory birds. A trip to Alleppey's ancient temples such as Ambalappuzha Sri Krishna temple and Chettikulangara Sree Bhagavathi temple is also recommended. If you have less time, you can remove the Vembanad Lake activity and instead opt for a visit to the Alleppey beach, which is just 4 km away from the Alleppey town and offers beautiful sandy shores to relax on.
