Start the day by visiting the Munnar Tea Gardens, known for their picturesque views and refreshing aroma. Take a walk through the garden and learn about the tea-making process. After that, head to the Mattupetty Dam, a stunning location with a serene atmosphere. Take a boat ride or simply walk around and take in the breathtaking views of the surrounding hills.
Begin the day with a visit to the Echo Point, situated amidst the lush green hills of Munnar. The location gets its name from the echo that resounds after shouting out aloud. After that, head to the Kundala Lake, another serene location with an excellent view. You can also enjoy a shikara boat ride or go for a picnic near the lake.
On your final day, start with a visit to Eravikulam National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site, that is home to endangered species like the Nilgiri Tahr and Anamudi. After that, head to the Munnar Tea Museum, where you can learn about the tea production process and also purchase some tea to take back home.
If you have an extra day, visit the Top Station, famous for its panoramic views of the Western Ghats. You can also opt for a relaxing Ayurvedic Massage to rejuvenate after the busy itinerary. And if you have less time, skip visiting Kundala Lake or the Tea Museum. Instead, include a visit to the Blossom Park, a beautiful location with a variety of flowers.
