Charminar is Hyderabad’s most famous and prized monument. Built in the 16th century, this stunning structure boasts four arches and a large dome-shaped roof. You can climb the narrow spiral staircase and reach the top floor to view the cityscape. Golconda Fort is a massive fort complex located in the west of Hyderabad. It was built in the 13th century by the Kakatiya dynasty and is famous for its acoustic effect, where a handclap at the fort's entrance gates can be heard from a kilometer away easily. The place also gives the perfect view of the city.
If you have more time in Hyderabad, you can visit the Salar Jung Museum, famous for its fantastic collection of art and artifacts. You can also enjoy a boat ride in the Hussain Sagar Lake, and the nearby Lumbini Park, famous for its beautiful light show at night. If you have less time, skip the Ramoji Film City and plan to visit Charminar/Golconda on the first day and visit an amusement park like Wonderla or Ocean Park on the second day.
