Visitors can take a boat ride in the lake after obtaining permission from the forest authorities. Kodaikanal Lake is a man-made star-shaped lake located in the heart of the town. It is a popular spot for boating. There are several activities to enjoy here like cycling, horse riding, and balloon shooting. The beauty of the lake is enhanced by the surrounding hills and trees.
