    Jog Falls is a marvel to behold during monsoon season. One of the highest waterfalls in India, it has four different cascades that converge to form a single waterfall that drops 253 meters. Tourists can take a dip in the pool-like waterfalls when it's safe. Apart from the waterfalls, there's a beautiful garden, children's park, and viewpoints to take a look at. Entrance to the falls is free.

  2. Day 2: Keladi, Shimoga

    Keladi is a small village located in Shimoga district that was the capital of an ancient Hindu kingdom. The major highlights of the place include the Rameshwara temple that was built by the Keladi Nayaka dynasty during the 16th century, a museum that holds ancient artifacts, and the Keladi fort built during the reign of King Shivappa Nayaka in the 16th century. An ideal location to spend the second day of your trip while delving deep into Karnataka's rich history.
