A City Experience Itinerary for Chikmagalur

  1. Day 1: Mullayanagiri Peak

  3. Day 3: Belur and Halebidu Temples

    Finish off your trip with a day trip to see the Belur and Halebidu Temples, marvelous examples of Hoysala architecture located in the neighboring regions. The temples are adorned with intricate carvings of gods, animals and mythological figures. Belur temple has the darling of the Hoysala architecture, Darpana Sundari, an exquisite sculpture of a woman. After you have soaked up the spectacular artistry exhibited in these UNESCO World Heritage sites, head back to Chikmagalur to end the itinerary.
