Next, visit the Marayoor Sandalwood Forests, a protected forest area where Sandalwood trees grow naturally, and you also learn how sandalwood oil is made. Don't miss visiting the Chinnar Wildlife Sanctuary, which has an incredible variety of flora and fauna. Don't miss the Thoovanam waterfalls, a 1-1.5 km trek up through the Karian Shola National Park.
