Start your luxurious Kodaikkanal trip by visiting Coaker's Walk. This 1 km long pedestrian path offers a panoramic view of the lush green hills, valleys, and a glimpse of the distant town. While strolling, you can admire the stunning landscapes and capture amazing photos of nature. Next, head to Bryant Park, a botanical park located nearby. Enjoy the tranquillity and beauty of the park while exploring the different sections of colourful flowers, trees, and fauna. For lunch, dine-in at the Cloud Street Cafe, a Thai cuisine restaurant, located within the park.
On day 2, visit the star-shaped Kodai Lake, encompassed by hills on all sides. The lake offers various activities such as boating, cycling, horse riding, or relaxing by the shore. Next, head to the dense Pine Forest located less than a km from the lake. The forest offers long winding trails ideal for a nature walk or meditation. End your tour by visiting the Highland Parade Ground, which provides a scenic view of the valley. You can also go shopping at the nearby Muncheese Bazaar, famous for homemade chocolates, spices, and tea varieties.
If you have more time, you can add more locations such as the Guna Cave, Pillar Rocks or the Silent Valley View. You can also visit the Kodaikanal Solar Observatory or indulge in some adventurous activities like ziplining or paragliding. However, if you have less time, skip the Muncheese Bazaar, the Highland Parade Ground, or the Pine Forest. Alternatively, you can also hire a local guide for better insights into the culture and history of the place. Lastly, we recommend carrying sunscreen, sunglasses, hats and wearing comfortable clothes and shoes.
