Bachelor Party Weekend in Moonar

  1. Day 1: Tea Plantation Trekking
    20 minutes (2.9 miles) from Munnar Town

    Start day one early with an adventurous trekking of Munnar Tea Plantation. Guided treks are available through the beautiful landscape. You can also learn about how tea is cultivated, plucked and processed. This is an easy trek most of the time and allowing you to breathe in the cool air and forget all of your worries. Bring comfy shoes and dress appropriately. Return back to your hotel after the trek.

  2. Day 2: Boating & Horse Riding
    30 minutes (15.6 miles) to Mattupetty Dam

    Start day two travel to Mattupetty Dam where you can have a tranquil boating experience of greenery around the dam. After completing the boating, Get ready for horse riding then pick a horse and ride through the picturesque tea plantations and forests surrounding the dam. It is a pleasant feeling of adrenaline flow which brings you energetic vibes. Later head back towards your hotel and enjoy the last dinner in Munnar with your friends.

Useful tips

If you have more time you can add a visit to Echo Point, which is a serene and peaceful lake surrounded by green hills, it’s perfect for morning walks or a picnic. Another excellent place to visit nearby is Top Station, which is known to have the highest tea plantations in the world, if you can try to visit early in the morning or late in the evening as it gets crowded during the day. If you're in Munnar for more than two days, consider adding a visit to the Eravikulam National Park or Attukad Waterfalls.

If you have less time, you can skip the horse riding activity. If you're not fond of trekking, take a jeep tour in Munnar, which offers the same stunning scenery but little physical exertion.
