Children would enjoy the Benjarong porcelain vases, which are painted in vibrant shades.
The Kerala Folklore Museum is a cultural hub for art enthusiasts as it displays more than 4000 artifacts that explain the history of Kerala's art, music, and theater. The Folklore Theatre inside the museum screens traditional art forms and has puppets. The museum has an impressive collection of instruments, costumes, and bronze and stone sculptures.
Cherai Beach is one of Kochi's popular family-friendly beaches. The shallow water and the gentle waves make it a safe haven for children to have fun at. The beach has several restaurants and snack joints that serve fresh seafood and local delicacies. Cherai Beach is also an ideal spot to watch the sunset.

Marine Drive, located along Kochi's backwaters, is a promenade that stretches for three kilometers. The place is ideal for a leisure walk with your family members, and you will be able to witness the sunset. The promenade is lined with stalls selling street food, tea stalls, ice cream carts, and souvenir shops. Do not forget to take a camera to click some photos of your time spent at Marine Drive.
If you have more time, you can include a trip to the Bolgatty Palace, Fort Kochi, and the Chinese Fishing Nets. However, if you have less time, skip the Hill Palace Museum and marine drive. Always carry a water bottle, sunscreen, and a hat as Kochi gets hot and humid.
