Start the day early with a cycling tour through the stunning plantations and forested hills of Chembra Peak. From there, proceed to Kuruva Island and go bamboo rafting on the crystal-clear streams.
Embark on an early morning jeep safari through the lush green forests of Tholpetty Wildlife Sanctuary. Look out for tigers, leopards, and other exotic animals. In the evening, enjoy a bonfire night and barbecue at the resort.
Trek up to the historic Edakkal Caves, where ancient cave paintings offer a glimpse into Wayanad's rich past. Then, head to Asia's largest earthen dam, the Banasura Sagar Dam, for a scenic walk around the reservoir.
Before leaving, explore the local spice markets and pick up some souvenirs to take back home. They offer a variety of Indian spices that are aromatic, enriching, and flavourful. Then head to the airport to catch your flight back.
For an extended trip, consider a visit to the Soochipara Falls or Pookode Lake. Those with less time can skip the spice market tour, and choose to do a wildlife safari on Day 2. In case of bad weather like heavy rainfall, jungle trips and trekking may not be done.
