The Dolphin's Nose is a spectacular view of the valley that offers a panoramic view of the surrounding hills and the flatland below. The viewpoint forms a protruding rock that has the shape of a dolphin's nose, hence the name. This place is a must-visit for adventure freaks.
About 7.7 km from the Dolphin's nose, lies the Guna Caves, a sacred and historical cave in the middle of the forest. The cave is famous because of a Tamil movie called 'Gunna,' which was shot here.
The Kukkal Caves is a network of tunnels formed by natural processes from the rock formations. The caves have a significant historical value and are artifacts in their right.
If you have more time, visit Pillar Rocks, a set of three massive rock formations that offer a mesmerizing view of the valley. You can also visit Mannavanur Lake, a scenic hill station that offers a view of the surrounding valley and a lake that attracts a variety of birds. If you are on a tight schedule, you can skip Guna Cave and Kukkal Caves.
