  1. Day 1: Varkala Beach

    This is a double whammy spot, signature of the beach and backwater of Kerala. Take a peaceful boat ride in the Kappil backwaters, hidden between the Arabian Sea and Edava Narayana Lake. Then get indulged in the scenery of Kappil Beach which is surrounded by cliffs and coconut groves. If you are up for more adventure, try surfing or paddleboarding!

  3. Day 3: Ponnumthuruthu Island and Anjengo Fort
    21 km from Varkala Beach, 1 Hr drive via NH66

    Take a road trip to visit the scenic Ponnumthuruthu Island which is only accessible by a short boat ride from the Nedunganda village. The island is a lush green paradise that hosts a 100-year-old Shiva Parvati temple, an old Muslim mosque and an ancient Banyan tree. Then visit the Anjengo Fort, which was established by the British East India Company and has ruins of an old Dutch-style cemetery and a lighthouse. The magnificent view of the Arabian sea from the fort is not to be missed!
