Located in the Ilgaz National Park, the Ilıca Waterfall is a mesmerising sight to behold. The waterfall flows down from a height of 15 metres and gushes into a turquoise blue pool, creating a scenic natural pool. Visitors can take a dip in the icy waters, relax while basking in the sun on the rocks, and click some gorgeous photos.
Saklıgöl, meaning "hidden lake," is a picturesque spot located amid lush green forests in Kırkdilim. The lake was formed by a landslide and is like a secluded haven amidst nature. Visitors can go fishing, enjoy a boat ride, or simply revel in the tranquillity of this natural wonder.
If you have more time, you can plan a visit to the Ilgaz Mountains National Park, Abbaslar Recreation Area, and the Kızılcahamam Thermal Springs. But if you have less time, you can skip Saklıgöl and explore the Çankırı city centre, taking a leisurely stroll in the Mart Community Forest and visiting the Çankırı Museum for a glimpse into the province's rich history and culture.
