Explore the Butterfly Conservatory, where you can witness over 100 species of butterflies and moths, and then walk through the adjacent Spice Garden, where you can see a wide variety of spices and herbs being grown luxuriantly in this region.
Head to Dudhsagar Waterfalls, one of India's tallest waterfalls, and then explore the Mollem National Park, known for its rich biodiversity, flora, and fauna. Make sure to keep your eyes peeled for Indian Gaur, leopards, black panthers, Malabar giant squirrels, and a variety of birds.
Visit the Salim Ali Bird Sanctuary located on the western tip of the Island of Chorão, approximately 15 km from the capital city, Panjim. Afterward, you can visit the Dr. Salim Ali Museum, which is dedicated to the history of ornithology in India, especially in the state of Goa.
Visit the Bondla Wildlife Sanctuary, which is home to a variety of animals such as blackbuck, Indian bison, peafowl, sloth bears, leopards, and deer, etc. You can take a safari in the park and then visit the Bondla Zoo located inside the sanctuary.
Take a leisurely day at Sinquerim Beach and enjoy its warm sandy shores; watch the fishermen in the morning and take a stroll across to the Aguada Fort nearby; built-in 1612 CE, it is an impressive 17th-century fort that once guarded the Portuguese waters from invading sea-fairing powers.
Go for a morning swim at Calangute Beach, the most popular beach in Goa. After enjoying some time in the water, head out on a Spice Plantation Tour where you can learn all about how various spices are grown, how they smell and taste.
If you have more time, you can explore other beautiful beaches like Agonda Beach, Palolem Beach, and Benaulim Beach. If you have less time, drop one of the wildlife sanctuaries.
