After offering your prayers, you can head to the popular Orion Mall which is just few minutes drive away. It is a perfect place for shopping, dining and entertainment with its amazing selection of brands, restaurants, and movie theatre.
Start day two with an early morning drive to the picturesque Coorg, also known as the "Scotland of India". The first destination on the itinerary is the birthplace of River Cauvery- Talacauvery. The stunning view of the mountains, coffee plantations, and misty forests during the 1 hr 45 min drive is not to be missed.
The third day starts with a thrilling ride on the elephants at the Dubare Elephant Camp, where you can spend time with the gentle giants and learn more about them. After the elephant ride, head to the famous Abbey falls, where the beauty of the waterfall and nature will leave you mesmerized. The falls are surrounded by coffee plantations and spice gardens which are worth exploring.
The last day of the trip can be spent exploring Coorg city. Begin with a visit to the Madikeri Fort, which is a testimony of the city's rich culture and heritage. The fort has been renovated several times but still retains its appeal and antiquity. After the fort, you can shop for some souvenirs and sample local delicacies at the bustling markets around.
If you have more time, you can explore other attractions in Bangalore like the Wonderla Amusement Park or the Bangalore Palace. Likewise, in Coorg, you can add a visit to the Namdroling Monastery, a popular Tibetan Buddhist Monastery. For those who have less time, it is suggested to avoid visiting Talacauvery and instead explore some other attraction in Coorg like the Raja's Seat Garden or the Omkareshwara Temple.
