Anjuna Flea Market is a popular spot for tourists and locals alike. With over 500 stalls selling traditional handicrafts, antiques, and souvenirs, you'll find plenty of unique treasures. This outdoor market is open every Wednesday from October to May and is located near the famous Anjuna Beach. Even if shopping isn't your thing, it's worth visiting for the lively atmosphere and people watching. Don't forget to bargain for the best prices!
Dudhsagar Falls is one of India's tallest waterfalls and a must-visit when in Goa. The name Dudhsagar translates to "sea of milk," which perfectly describes the appearance of the four-tiered falls. The best time to visit is during monsoon season, from June to September, when the waterfall is at its full force. You have to hike a bit to reach the falls, but the stunning view and refreshing dip in the pool at the bottom make it all worth it. Bring plenty of water and wear sturdy shoes!
If you have extra time, consider visiting Baga Beach or Fort Aguada on Day 1. On Day 2, you could check out the colorful houses in Fontainhas or take a sunset river cruise along the Mandovi River. If you have less time, skip the Anjuna Flea Market and visit the quieter and lesser-known Arambol Beach instead. Remember to bring comfortable shoes and a reusable water bottle to stay hydrated.
