Drive to Wayanad for an adventure with nature. Start with a trek to the Chembra Peak and enjoy the panoramic views from the top. Then, visit the Edakkal Caves to explore the prehistoric carvings on the rock formations. The Banasura Sagar Dam and the Kuruva Island also offer scenic experiences.
Drive to Munnar, the land of tea gardens. Start the day with a visit to the Mattupetty Dam and the Kundala Lake for stunning views and boating experiences. Learn about how tea is made at the Tata Tea Museum, and then take a stroll through the Kolukkumalai Tea Estate to experience the vast tea gardens from up close.
Drive to Alappuzha, known as the "Venice of the East," for a unique houseboat experience. Check into your houseboat and enjoy a traditional Keralan meal prepared on board while cruising through the backwaters. Watch the sunset and sleep under the stars, rocked gently by the soothing water.
Spend the morning enjoying your houseboat's surroundings before heading back to Kochi to catch your return flight.
If you have more time, consider exploring more of Coorg or heading to Wayanad for a wildlife safari. In Munnar, you can also visit the Eravikulam National Park to spot endangered species. If you have less time, you can skip Wayanad or Alappuzha and spend more time in Coorg or Munnar. Remember to check the opening and closing times of all the places you want to visit in advance.
