Begin the first day with a long hike to Kheerganga, a picturesque spot nestled high in the Himalayas. You'll cross through stunning pine forests, scenic meadows, serene waterfalls, and sulphur springs, before reaching the campsite at Kheerganga. After setting up camp, relax in the warm water and take in the beauty of the nearby hot springs. You may even indulge in some stargazing after dinner, before retiring for the night.
Navigate through adrenaline-fueled day on the second day by going on a rafting expedition down the Beas River. The nearby Tirthan Valley is perfect for some thrilling rock climbing. The scenic drive to and from Tirthan Valley is a bonus.
End the trip by exploring the incredible Malana village. You can take a tour around the village and meet the friendly locals. Make sure to drink some native tea at a local tea shop, before taking a walk through the beautiful forest. Do not miss out on the chance to try some of the locally cultivated "Malana cream".
If you have extra time, you can add a visit to other picturesque villages like Tosh, Pulga or Kalga. For food, try some of the local delicacies like momos and thukpa. Shopping for locally woven shawls, caps, and jackets makes for delightful souvenirs. If you're running short of time, you could skip rock climbing and spend some relaxing time around the hot springs at Kheerganga basecamp.
