Visit Wat Phra That Doi Suthep, the most renowned temple in Chiang Mai, located high on a mountain offering excellent views of the city, then head to Wat Sri Suphan, a beautiful silver temple, also known as the Silver Temple.
Join a half-day cooking class to learn about Thai cuisine and how to make some classic dishes. After that, explore Chiang Mai's famous night market at the heart of the city, which sells many souvenirs, clothing, and street food.
Visit an Elephant Sanctuary and spend half a day feeding and learning about elephants, then enjoy scenic bamboo rafting down the Mae Taeng River.
Discover Doi Inthanon National Park, the highest mountain in Thailand. Along the way, see the cloud forest, stunning waterfalls, and the King and Queen Pagoda.
Take a day to relax at one of Chiang Mai's top spas, such as Oasis Spa or Cheeva Spa, both offering an array of restorative treatments, massages, and relaxation rooms.
If you have more time, consider taking a day trip to Chiang Rai to see the White Temple, or travel to Pai to witness the peaceful rural hillside. If you have less time, we recommend cutting the elephant sanctuary and/or spa day.
