Trek to Kedarnath: A One-day Itinerary

1. 7:00AM: Kedarnath Temple
   Starting the day with a spiritual visit to the Kedarnath Temple.
   Note: The temple opens at 7:00AM and closes at 8:00PM.
2. 9:00AM: Shankaracharya Samadhi
   A holy place where the great philosopher and Hindu theologian, Shankaracharya, is believed to have attained Samadhi.
   Note: The Samadhi is open from 8:00AM to 9:00PM.
   Estimated time and distance from previous location: 2 hours by foot (3.6 kilometers).
3. 12:00PM: Gandhi Sarovar
   A glacial lake located at the base of the Chaukhamba peaks, named after Mahatma Gandhi.
   Note: The park remains open from May 1st to October 31st.
   Estimated time and distance from previous location: 3 hours by foot (6.4 kilometers).
4. 1:00PM: Bhairavnath Temple
   A small temple dedicated to the fierce deity Bhairavnath.
   Note: The temple is open from 4:00AM to 12:00PM and from 2:00PM to 9:00PM.
   Estimated time and distance from previous location: 1 hour by foot (2.1 kilometers).
5. 2:00PM: Vasuki Tal Lake
   An emerald-colored high altitude lake nestled in the lap of the Himalayas.
   Note: The lake is accessible only during May to September.
