The Patwon Ki Haveli is a cluster of five havelis built in the 1800s by the wealthy merchants of Jaisalmer. The havelis boast of intricate architecture and artwork, including mirror work, sandstone carvings, and beautiful wall paintings. The museum inside the haveli has a vast collection of artifacts that give an insight into the life of the rich and famous merchants of the bygone era.
The Sam Sand Dunes are undoubtedly one of the most picturesque sites you'll see in Rajasthan. With endless stretches of golden sand dunes and clear blue skies, the Sam Sand Dunes makes an incredible spot to watch the sunset. You can experience the thrill of riding a camel and enjoy a cultural program organized by the locals.
Bada Bagh is a tranquil and picturesque garden complex located amidst the arid Thar desert. The complex houses several cenotaphs, including the one belonging to Maharaja Jai Singh II. The intricate carvings and designs on the cenotaphs are a sight to behold, and the lush green gardens make it an ideal picnic spot.
If you have more time, you can add Kuldhara, Tanot Mata Temple, and Gadisar Lake to your itinerary. If you have less time, you can skip Bada Bagh and spend more time at the Sam Sand Dunes.
