4-day Itinerary for Pondicherry

  1. Day 1: Promenade Beach
    10 minutes (2.5 km) from Pondicherry Airport

    Start off your trip by visiting the Promenade Beach. This is a popular spot for tourists and locals to relax and enjoy the sea breeze.   2. Day 2: Aurobindo Ashram and Auroville

    Visit the Aurobindo Ashram, a spiritual community founded by Sri Aurobindo and his disciple Mirra Alfassa. Here, you can learn about their philosophy and way of life. After that, head to Auroville, an experimental community founded in the 1960s. You can explore the Matrimandir, the center of Auroville, or take a walk through the forest. There are also several shops and cafes in Auroville.
